ADOPTED 11-29-08, thank you Doug & Kathy in Nine Mile Falls, WA! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~IN 9-30-08. A lady,driving home from work late at night, came around a corner on a country road and almost hit this pile of kittens someone had dumped there. They were huddled together, in the middle of the paved road. We don't know if it was all because they were frozen in fear, probably having never been outside before, or because the pavement was still warm, holding the day's heat. It was a very chilly night and they were terrified, hungry and cold. She got out and gathered up these 6, but 6 more scattered into the woods, never to be seen again. This is one of the biggest ones, we think about 9 weeks old.
