My Story

Meet "Rudy," is a cream - orange tabby who was found half frozen and near death in a storm drain on one of the coldest nights of the year. He was rushed to the hospital where he wasn't given much chance to survive. But this SWEET boy is a fighter and had the will to live. FOCAS learned of this homeless boy's needs. Nearly a week passed until the veterinarians pronounced him "out of danger" and approved his release to a F'OCAS foster home. Rudy is now looking for a forever home. His foster mom tell us that he can be a bit unsteady on his feet sometimes, probably the residual effect of inner ear infection, but he's getting stronger every day. He also has an endearing habit of tilting his head to one side. He loves attention and when you pet him he'll purr up a storm. We estimate his age at 3-4 years old. He's neutered, up to date on shots and tested negative for feline aids and leukemia.
