My Story

***AT SHELTER*** Does something feel awry? It might be that you're missing Arrax in your home! If you feel as if your home is missing a cute and playful cat, Arrax may be the one to save the day! Arrax is a curious boy that came to us from another shelter. Not much is known about his past, but he seems comfortable around people. Arrax far prefers playing over being petted, and will often swat at hands and back-scratchers instead of letting them touch him. However, once he gets over his playful batting, he can appreciate some head scritches.  We're not sure if Arrax was trained to see hands as toys or if he's still trying to maintain some social distancing, but we're workingon trying t o get him to accept pets first and ask questions later. Arrax isn't a fan of other cats, and would likely do best in a home without small children. Volunteers have also noted that Arrax has a lot of energy, so he would probably appreciate an adopter who won't tire of playing with him.  Is Arrax the cat you need? Apply today and let him blow you away! (Get it? He's named after a dragon!) -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.  -------------------- Interested in adopting Arrax? It's easy! Just click "Adopt a Cat" on the EHS website (etobicokehumanesociety.com) and fill out our "Cat Adoption Form." An EHS representative will be pleased to help.
