Aster

ASTER is small, sweet and shy. She loves to be petted. She formerly lived with a family that was in a tragic accident and was taken in by one of CAT's foster moms. Aster is squirmy but friendly if you take the time to introduce yourself to her. Her want for love and attention is a little stronger than her timidness and although she may appear scared at first, she won't close up. It is clear that Aster is more of a passive cat and because of this characteristic, would be better suited in a home where she is the only cat.

Aster is a stunning smoke grey cat with light green iridescent eyes. When she is feeling relaxed and loved, she will make soft creamy purr sounds that will delight your heart.

UPDATE: Aster was previously adopted into a household with another cat which made her extremely uncomfortable. Since being back at the shelter she's been friendly, playful and enjoys attention and being petted. We think she'd do well as an only cat with patient pet owners who'd allow her plenty of time to adjust to her new surroundings. And a LOT of love never hurts!
