I came to NAWS because I had wandered onto the farm of one of our Volunteers and was getting beat up by the farm cats. It got really bad to where the farm cats from the property across the road would also come and beat me up. I would just lay there and not defend myself, so I was brought in for my safety. I'm a little shy in the beginning, but I warm up fast, especially if you have some goodies to spoil me with. I LOVE wet food and cat nip - especially cat nip on a scratch board. I also like treats. I'm learning to play with toys and finding out what fun they are. I love to be held and will lay my head on your shoulder and PURR. I will also roll over to show you my belly when being pet. I like to be called “Good Boy.” I have a little dog friend in my foster home that I have been around and I don't mind her. She's about the same size as me. I don't mind kids as I have a 10yr old girl that helps take care of me in my foster home. I honestly don't know how I would be with other cats since my experiences with them have not been good. I can see the cats in my foster home through a glass door and I do hiss at them because I get scared.
