Baikal

Baikal loves to show off his majestic length by sleeping stretched to his fullest potential. And he loves doing it within three feet of you. If you happen to have a desk chair, be warned: he will lay either right next to or within inches of your chair's wheels. Always make sure to keep an eye on your surroundings so an unsuspecting Baikal isn't suddenly awoken by a wheel, and of course to pet him. When he is awoken from his many many naps, Baikal loves to stretch his front and back limbs. And sometimes, when he's mid-stretch, Baikal will simply sit and fall right back asleep. Baikal is a vocal kitty. Always vocal around meal time, particularly when his food is being prepared and placed, Baikal has many things to say. However, he's not so rude as to meow your ears off in the morning. He's a polite kitty, only meowing once you're awake and out of bed. He's also the sort of cat to meow while yawning, and go right back to his nap. He also loves meowing when greeting people, or if people approach him with intent to pet or to allow him to headbutt. He's very friendly around strangers, immediately making requests for headbutts and pets. Baikal loves a good feathered wand. Swing the feather around and Baikal will awkwardly and adorably play with it (he hasn't gained his hunting skills yet). And when done playing, he'll stretch himself out a couple of feet away from you) and resume his perpetual cat nap. While he will almost immediately start nuzzling you, he'll need some time before he'll cuddle. He's also not the biggest fan of being picked up (he'll let you, but he'll squirm and attempt to free himself, no claws involved). He would prefer to get around on his own four feet. He's a very calm kitty with the sweetest of slightly scratchy and chirpy meows and likes to spend his days stretched out and napping with the occasional play session. If Baikal's ever out of sight, put your hand out (or perhaps a trail of treats) and he'll come right out to nuzzle it. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
