BENNY D.O.B. 03/28/22 - Male - Grey & White Tabby - Domestic Short Hair - Neutered - Microchipped - Dewormed - FIV/FeLV Tested - Vaccinated for Rabies & FVRCP Benny was welcomed to the rescue as a stray that was dumped on our rural property and was trapped at the front of our facility in the early morning hours of February 6th, 2024. He was understandably scared and shy, but it didn't take him very long to show us his larger than life loving personality! (We originally thought Benny was a big girl, because he was previously neutered and is missing his entire man purse. Having a slight ear-tip, we brought him to our vet thinking he was a spayed female for confirmation, however it turned out the Penny is a Benny instead! He is missing his entire "man-purse". (An ear tip cut is usually done when a cat is fixed as a part of an outdoor colony) Benny is a really sweet and extremely affectionate plus-sized guy. It appears that he may have been abused in the past as he tends to nervously recoil in fear if he thinks he's in trouble. He does not like raised voices and is terrified of the vaccum cleaner so he will run and hide. Benny LOVES any and all attention. When he gives head butts, he REALLY means it. He's really got some force behind all that love he's got to give! He loves rolling around on the floor and winding around your legs asking for attention. He adores cheek rubs, head scratches, and pets. He also loves playing with stuffed catnip pickle toys and rounded flat corrugated cardboard scratchers with a ball he can spin around repeatedly. Bonus - he also likes to play with other cats! If you're looking for a KING-SIZED cat with KING-SIZED love, Benny is your boy.
