Big Cyril

Meet Big Cyril, an affectionate hunk of a cat! He is approximately 2 years old. This large, medium-haired gray and white kitty - weighing in at 13.5 pounds - loves cardboard scratchers, laps, chin rubs, and snuggling in bed with his human. Cyril was rescued from a feral colony and was very shy and hissy for his first few weeks in foster, but he surprised us by transforming into a cuddly lap cat. He is now a confident and relaxed boy who is easy to handle, likes to be petted, and responds to human voices and gestures. Big Cyril plays nicely with the other cats in his foster home (including the little girl cat), and would likely make a good companion to a friendly kitty. He has been around other cats for most of his life and is accustomed to companionship, so he must go to a home with either a cat close to his age or a person who can keep him company for much of the day. What Big Cyril is looking for in a home: - He’s new to indoor life with humans, so he needs a kind and patient guide to help him continue adjusting. - He needs to live indoors only. - He has a positive history with other cats and would probably like to have a feline friend close to his age. - He might do well as an only cat if his human is at home with him most of the time. - He has no known history with dogs. - He has no known history with children.
