Majestic, Chill, Loving! Bones is a special, sweet and low maintenance soul who adapts easily to new environments and is a perfect gentleman. He was rescued by a Samaritan who was feeding him for a year while he was living outside. He adores food and will meow when it is feeding time. He also loves being held and petted - what a cutie! Bones adores snuggles and affection and has adorable chunky cheeks & soulful eyes. When you hold him, he wraps his tail around your body as if he's hugging you. He enjoys having his cheeks and ears scratched. Bones likes to be the main feline in the household and would thrive in a home as the solo cat. He seems to do great with older children who can respect his space. If he can have supervised time outside on a screened porch or fenced yard where he can stop and smell the roses, it would be perfect, but he can also be flexible. Bones has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption.
