This cute little guy originally came from a backyard in Stockton. He was initially thought to be feral but one day meowed a sweet little hello, and then started stopping by more frequently; eventually the caretaker was able to gain his trust and pet him. He made the backyard his home for several months until one day he let himself into the house! He's been a house cat ever since. It's unclear what Bowser's history is and where he came from but the vet estimated him to be 4 or 5 years old. He's a sweet, gentle boy who may be a bit overweight so his adopter will need to work with him on his weight loss journey. That shouldn't be hard because Bowser loves to play with wand toys! Now he just needs his forever person to come find him for play and lots of love! He is a very affectionate boy and has a lot of love to give. Bowser is FIV+ which means he should be indoor only so other cats won't try to fight him, which is the only way it can be spread from a neutered cat. Please don't be afraid of FIV, it's really nothing. It just means a slightly compromised immune system, but if you take good care of him he will live a long and healthy life just like any other cat. Bowser gets along with other cats and isn't a fighter so he can live with other peaceful cats. He is neutered and up to date on his shots and ready for his forever home!
