What a story! I was contacted by a woman who had taken in a stray, wanted to keep him but her own cats have said "Uh-uh... nope." Here is what she has to say about this boy - **********************************************************Boy Friend is a lovely blind Siamese/Snowshoe boy. A semi-feral, he began showing up at our door, then sneaking in "when no one was looking" to forage for food. Soon he had his own dish. Finally after about a year, I was able to pet him and then hold him. About 6 months ago, we formally took him into our care, had him neutered, fully attended to by our DVM, microchipped, and provided full dentistry, including one tooth extraction. Apart from his blindness caused by severe cataracts, he is very healthy. For a period of time he and the others did well together because the girls were afraid of him - prior to his neuter, he attempted to "ravish" them. Now he is a docile, blind and hesitant little guy. However, our "top" cat has begun to dominate and run him off. None of our cats are exclusively indoor. And for Boy Friend, this new shift in dominance by our girl has put him in peril. Which leads me to my reason from emailing you. With heavy heart, my husband and I feel Boy Friend needs a single cat home. He is a very loving, sweet and endearing little guy. When he can relax he is our most loving lap kitty. And he is vulnerable.
