Brooklyn was rescued from New York when we were there visiting family. She had been abandoned by her family in a carrier outside of an apartment building. She was so happy to be found. She did amazing on the flight back to California and wasn't even scared when TSA asked for her to brought out of her carrier and through inspection. She is VERY human affectionate but does take time to adjust to other pets.
