Buccaneer, affectionately known as Bucky, is a true survivor. This brave little pirate was left alone for 23 days after her owner passed away, cleverly hiding from animal control. When she was finally found, she was emaciated and suffering from dental disease, but she's a fighter and has come a long way since then. Bucky might have a bit of a grumpy exterior, but don't let that fool you. After a much-needed dental treatment, she's less of a grump and more of a quirky, lovable "get off my lawn" kind of cat. With her slow, graceful movements and unique raspy meow, she's a one-of-a-kind kitty looking for a special home to live out her golden years. Buccaneer is a petite, vocal senior with tons of personality. She's independent and loves her personal space, especially in her cozy cat cave, but at night she's all about the cuddles. Her meows are something you've never heard before-trust us on this one! And while she enjoys her treats and pets, she's a low-maintenance kitty with a manageable kidney condition that just requires the right diet. Bucky is a real gem who gets along with other cats but would also be perfectly happy as the queen of her own castle.
