My Story

Disposition: quietly adoring.

Cado is so adorable when he opens up. This truly handsome little guy has the softest gray coat with the gentlest of eyes. He enjoys romping around, yet he can spend hours sitting quietly, taking pleasure in the peace and solitude. During the day, he thinks it's his job to be "Stealth Kitty" and admits you are around but proudly ignores you. At night, though, he turns into "Kitty Romeo." He curls up with you, rubs against you, lies on top of you, anywhere to be close to you. He sometimes even paces on the bed, knowing it's time to go to sleep and you aren't there yet. He purrs away and rubs into your hand as you pet him.

Cado and his sister Cissy had been in quarantine because of a suspicious death in their litter. As a result, they were slow in their social skills. They were brought to us as very tiny kittens by someone who trapped them in the backyard garden. Their mommy had taught them Magical Hiss & Spit Powers to make nasty humans go away, and this pair used their powers whenever they could. They finally figured out that all the hissing and spitting wasn't working on the foster mommy, so they gave up.

Cado needs a home where he can get lots of gentle attention without feeling threatened by your big human size. Are you ready to bring out the best in him?
