Connery was taken off "death row" at a local animal control facility by a sympathetic vetinerary assistant. She soon discovered he had two strikes against him - in addition to being at least 12 years old, he tested positive for Feline Leukemia. He also came with some eye problems (corneal ulcers) which have been successfully treated by a kitty opthalomologist. Currently he is a low maintenance cat who needs a couple of affordable supplements - l-lycine and vitamin C - added to his diet.
Only an understanding, compassionate person should consider offering Connery a home. He would be best as an only cat, or with another Feline Leukemia positive cat.
