Dixie is approximately 12 weeks old in these pictures taken November 9, 2008. She is now 2 years old and was returned twice due to her owners having allergies. Dixie is very loving and playful. She is used to being around a dog as the first couple had a Schnauzer. Both families just hated that they have to give her up.
We have noticed that Dixie does fear nip at first when you get her in and out of her kennel. All she needs though is to know that she is safe and she is soon purring up a storm.
How she came to be at LP - Little Dixie was abandoned when she was around 5-6 weeks old, and started out so small she had to be bottle fed. She had been in foster care and thrived into a little active kitty! She loved to play, run, jump, scoot and hide! Dixie was also a little cuddler with a great personality. The moment you picked her up, she purrs! She has been around school age children and dogs and is not afraid of a thing. She will definitely be a joy to whoever adopts her.
ADOPTION FEE: $65.00, includes spaying, shots, rabies, FIV/FELV testing (negative), and micro chipping.
