Flower was found on her own along the Mad River not far from Paws Animal Shelter when she was just three months old, way too young to be surviving on her own. She had a wound on left rear side, and her fur was all matted by this wound. Once we shaved it and pulled the hair off, we discovered it was a large wound. We cleaned it and applied SSD cream. It healed very nicely with no issues at all. Flower is now in one of our kitten rooms and is having a blast playing with all of her kitten friends and watching all the birds (we have bird feeders outside of each of our cat rooms, to provide entertainment for all the cats and kittens!).
