Kari was found stray, but no owner has been found, so this amazing cat can belong to some lucky person out there. Although she has a little brown and tan, Kari is a very dark medium haired tabby and she has huge emerald green eyes. She is estimated to be 5 or 6 years old and she is declawed. Kari was very flea-bitten when she came to the shelter and she had an allergy to the flea bites, so she has some hair loss around her hind legs and tail. Her tummy was also shaved to look for a spay scar. All of her hair will grow back and her gorgeous coat will be back to normal in a few months.
In the meantime, you won't notice because Kari literally does headstands and rollovers when you pet her. She puts her paws on your shoulders and gives kitty kisses. She just can't get enough. It's not clear if Kari likes to stay in your lap, or just wants to be beside and all over you – either way, this is one of the most affectionate cats we have ever met – and we meet a lot of cats!
Come and rescue Kari at the main shelter on Hamilton Avenue. Adult cats are only $30 right now because the shelter is full.
