Groucho

Groucho and her brother, Harpo, came to TALGV to find new homes because their owner is now taking care of her ailing mother who is very allergic to them. Groucho and Harpo had to be confined to one room in the house so that their fur did not cause her additional health problems. They are approximately 15 years young, and are both in excellent health with lots of life and love to give in their golden years. They are declawed, neutered and spayed, and are current on all of their shots. Groucho is a lovely calico lady, despite her name, and Harpo is a handsome, distinguished marmalade gentleman (They were both so young when their owner first brought them home that she couldn't tell whether they were male or female.). They are quintessential lap cats who love to be petted and brushed, every day if you have the time, and just generally be around their people. They are not particularly active, but not because of their age. According to their mom, they have always been "lazy" about exercise, but they do enjoy life and for the right enticement they can play with the best of them. We would very much like to place them both in the same home, as they have been together all their lives, and it would be sad to see them separated at this stage of their lives.
