Gus

We are currently assisting an owner in Ojai, to find a new home for her Scottish fold. Here is the information on Gus the fold, as of July 9: Gus was my daughter, Ashley's cat. She has moved to a high-rise in Denver, and cannot keep him there. Gus needs a home, immediately, as I am presently in precarious living circumstances, myself. I am moving out in less than 2 weeks. I have an older male kitty who is in poor health. He has become even more stressed since Gus arrived, and is losing weight steadily. Even though they grew up together, Toby, (my cat,) does not remember Gus, and does not like him. He's really failing quickly. Gus is very stressed, too, as he's missing his owner and has this unfriendly kitty companion to deal with. In response, Gus has taken to spraying. Last night, he sprayed right in front of my partner, who immediately said, "That's it! I don't care what you do with him, but he's out!" I don't have a leg to stand on, as this is his home, and we are in the process of splitting up. Gus is a beautiful, funny, extremely personable, and very young-acting 11-year old shorthaired silver-ticked tabby and white. As you will see, he has nicely folded ears. He is very playful and is a real, "attention-hog." Gus always has something to say on any given subject. He is in good health, is neutered, has all his shots, but does need his teeth cleaned, badly. I trim his nails, once a week, as they tend to grow thick and long, quickly. He needs to be brushed at least every 2 days.
