Interesting Stuff About HIRUKO:
HIRUKO is named for the Japanese god of the morning sun who also takes care of children. Hiruko is a nearly pure black cat with only few flecks of white under his chin. He is an easy going kitty who loves to play. Hiruko is happy to play with his people and is always interested in chasing a string toy or running after a toy you toss for him. When playtime is over Hiruko is content to sit next to you and purr while you pet his smooth fur.
Hiruko's current occupation is overseeing the work that others do at the shelter and if you give him the opportunity he will be happy to help out. Hiruko has proven to be a great worker. He has a gentle nature and is very obedient. After a few minutes of work he is more than happy to take a break with you right in your lap. He'll settle in as if he has worked ever so hard and now needs to relax. He'll plant your nose with soft kitty kisses to let you know that he appreciates the comfort of your lap. This will be followed up with a melody of purrs.
Hiruko is litter box trained and prefers the fine granular types over pelleted types of litter. His fur is smooth and short so grooming will be easy. He is a midnight black with stunning golden eyes.
