Hobie

Hobie is a handsome, large gray cat. He likes to spend a lot of time sleeping. He is also a fan of drinking from running water. Hobie has always been an indoor cat (as always, the shelter staff recommends all declawed cats be indoor cats) . He has been around dogs and other cats and did fine with them. He has been around children, but would do best in a home with out kids. Hobie has spent most of his life in one home, so it is very hard and scary for Hobie to come to a busy place like the shelter. He is trying his best to make friends with everyone, but because he is front declawed and used to being in one place, he is a bit nervous. So make sure you give Hobie a chance when you come and meet him, take into account what he has gone through these last few days. The big move from his previous home to the shelter has not been easy on Hobie, but we have all the faith in the world that Hobie will adjust and learn to be best buds with all the shelter staff. Hobie is mostly just a big, lazy cat that wants nothing more then to spend his time on a comfy bed or in a nice bright sun beam. He is a handsome fellow and knows it! He likes to be touched, but on his time. He will seek you out for attention, other wise he is happy to spend the rest of the day napping and lounging. If you are looking to adopt a cat that will let you get your house work done and won't be under foot, but will come visit you once in a while, come meet Hobie. Hobie is already neutered and front declawed.

The former owner adored and loved these cats very very much and wants to see them find loving, caring homes. They can be adopted seperate or together - either way they will adjust fine.
