My Story

Jack came to Bingham County Humane Society after his person moved out of his apartment and left Jack & another kitty behind. The people that were still living in the apartment could not afford to care for Jack so they brought him to us to care for him until we could find him a forever home. As far as personalities and good natured kitties go, they don't come any better than Jack. He gets along wonderfully with all the other cats and dogs in his foster home...of course the dogs in his foster home don't chase him around either. We don't know for sure how Jack will do around children as he has not had an opportunity to be around children...however, he is so gentle and sweet with adults, cats, & dogs, we feel he will probably be just as gentle with children. One curious thing about Jack is that he doesn't care to play with toys that are laying on the floor, rather, he will only play with toys that are dangling. Jack is very affectionate. Often, he gives kisses on your chin. How anyone could give Jack up is beyond us here at Bingham County Humane Society but we are so excited for Jack to find a forever home where someone will give him all the love in the world...he will give you all the love back you could ask for. Due to the fact that he has such long hair adopting Jack will also come with a commitment to brush him on a daily basis so his hair does not become tangled and matted. Jack is to be an indoor only kitty. He will only be adopted to a home that will go outside with him if he does want to go outside. If you adopt Jack, you must agree to keep him vaccinated annually. Please take into consideration before adopting any pet that with owning a pet comes great financial responsibility that you must be prepared for at all times. Jack is litter box trained & looking for his forever home. If you are interested in seeing Jack or for more information about Jack call Bingham County Humane Society's message phone at 208-680-3881 and leave a messge asking for Sandy's foster Jack. Be sure to leave a message and they will get back with you as soon as possible. You can also e-mail us with your contact information at [email protected].
