This little girl just loves everyone. She's in constant motion, but mostly trying to get close to you and win a little love. I'm sure she'd be adopted in a millisecond if it weren't for one thing. Jacki is FIV+.
Now, being FIV+ is not the worst thing that can happen to a cat, not by a long shot. But it does mean she can only be adopted into a home where there are no other cats or where there are only FIV+ cats.
But Jacki is not going to let this little obstacle stand in the way of her quest for affection. No way. She'll just make sure that anyone walking through the door of her room is smothered with Jacki love. And that is the best kind :)
P.S. I just can't decide if Jacki is black or brown. I guess, if you're superstitious about black cats, then we'll call her a brown cat. And if you've always wanted a cat who looks a little like the Havana Brown breed, then Jacki is definitely a brown cat. On the other hand, if you love the mysterious nature of black cats, or you're looking for the perfect Halloween companion, then Jacki is as black as the ace of spades!
Cats diagnosed with FIV can lead long & healthy lives. Because CAT feels so strongly that they will remain healthy and wishes to provide a sense of support, a Wellness Certificate is issued upon adoption.
These certificates provide the following, free of charge, for one year after adoption:
