Jackson could use a hero - is that you? Two year old Jackson has been adopted from an animal shelter twice, and both times found later as a stray. This last time, he was seen roaming his neighborhood at all times very shortly after his adoption. A kind neighbor, noticing he was starving and looking for shelter during our recent rain storms, took him in and called us. While he’s microchipped, none of his people ever called back nor appear to be looking for him. Despite all this, he is a sweet and loving biscuit making little dude who loves to sleep with his people! We’re so excited to help Jackson find his real furrever home. When he first moved in with his foster family, he had some behaviors which are common for cats with histories like Jackson, mostly attacking legs randomly. We’re happy to say after a little time, this behavior stopped! Jackson will still need a patient and understanding adopter who will give him time to settle in and know he’s finally in his furrever home. His foster family has fallen in love with Jackson who is sweet and cuddly and loves to play. We also think he gives a meme worthy side eye. Due his quirks, we think he’d do best in a house with older children and without other cats. Since he still darts randomly, he’d also do best in a home with humans who are steady on their feet. We don’t know how he is around dogs. He has impeccable litter box habits. Jackson has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and treated for fleas. He is also FeLV/FIV negative. We would consider a foster to adopt situation for the right home. Is that with you?
