Poor Louie Love-A-Lot - one day he had a family, the next - all gone. I still cannot believe that the cat I saw cradled in my neighbor's arms was put outside and left behind - a boy who thought he was a baby, only to be discarded. And at just over 2 years old, this boy IS still a baby.
Louie has been an indoor/outdoor cat, and could either be indoor or indoor/outdoor. He was abandoned with an older kitten who had joined the family a few months ago (Mr Purr-A-Lot), but after a few days together in my home, I finally realized Louie does not like his brother - in fact, Louie does not like other cats in general, or dogs either. Once isolated from any other animals, Louie became affectionate and lovable, rolling and stretching and purring to the touch. He's a happy guy, and ready for a home with a person who will never leave him again. But until that new home comes along, Louie is locked up - there is nowhere here without another animal, and so he is stuck.
