James James, a.k.a. Paws, is a 10 year old flame point Ragdoll. He is a bit on the shy with strangers, but once he loves you he really loves you. He is an amazing boy who LOVES other cats. He would do well in a quiet home with other cats. James is one of my success stories, and I am very proud of him. He was basically feral when he came from the breeder, but he has learned to love people. He is a very affectionate boy once he trusts you. He does have a condition called Pillow Foot where his foot (he is polydactyl) swells up and he has to have a steroid shot but this happens rarely. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application.
