Janet

Janet is a Velcro cat who loves to be with her foster mom as much as she can. She loves to play with feather toys and… ice! Janet loves to scratch her cardboard towers, so please have plenty around the house! This sweet tuxedo girl will do anything for a Trader Joe’s cat treat, or a squeezable chicken treat! At the end of the day, she loves to snuggle with her foster momma. Janet is a very loving cat that just wants all the attention, but she takes a little while to warm up! She is cautious but curious around new people! And she will make a newbie work for her trust! But once the trust is built, she will accept all the pets - where she likes it, of course! Janet isn't a fan of belly rubs and is a tad sensitive about her back legs, but we believe it may be because of a surgery she has had in the past! Little Miss Janet has a special back leg - her joint didn't quite fit together perfectly, so she had a surgery to repair that. She hasn't had any issues with it as of late, and we predict that a calm home will keep it that way! Janet takes regular joint supplements to keep her little joint happy and pain free, but she sometimes needs a little convincing to take them. Janet has done best in a foster home with no other animals. Not only does this keep her from re-injuring herself, but it keeps your focus on her - the way she wants it! A quiet home where her new parents have time to spend with her is ideal. After all… her love language is quality time… so if you’re looking for a kitty who only wants to be by your side… Janet is your girl!
