My Story

Jelly Bean was rescued from the streets of Jackson while she was very pregnant. She made it to foster care just before giving birth to 5 beautiful kittens. Jelly Bean did an amazing job caring for her babies and now it's time for her to find someone to care for her. She has warmed up a lot while living in foster care and she's starting to come out of her shell. She's discovered that living indoors comes with some perks; having a warm bed, a window to perch on while bird watching, soft cat food and being fed on a schedule is a life she's learning to love. She can be very talkative and is always sure to remind you when her dinner time is approaching or when she wants affection. Jelly Bean is still learning to trust humans, so can be a little shy at times, loud noises and commotion scare her and she gets a little nervous about being picked up. She would do well in a home with other animals as she loves her foster mom's resident cat and dog, but it would probably be best for her to not be in a home with small children. A little time, affection and a few Delectables will have her feeling right at home in no time!
