My Story

Smart, Playful, Happy No matter where you stand on the Yale speech Jess gave Rory in Gilmore Girls, we can all agree on this: our Jess Yale Speech is a happy, smart, friendly, playful, sweet guy! Jess is super affectionate, loving it when you pet him, preferring head pats to snuggling. This outgoing fella thrives on attention from his humans! He will push his head into your hands to not-so-subtly hint that he would love to be pet. Jess loves playing with toys! He can play happily by himself, and can chase endlessly after wand toys or laser pointers. And he will always welcome you as a playmate! That doubles the fun. Jess is in a foster home by himself, but previously he has done very well with other cats, playing with them and hanging out together. And Jess likes things on the quiet side! Too much noise and activity makes him say, whoa. He welcomes people and other cats, but overall can best get his Zen on when things are calmer. That's his happy place! You might have noticed that with his little half-'stache, Jess is whimsically handsome! He has a gorgeous white coat with orangey-tan markings in a Harlequin pattern, including a heart on his side when he curls up just right. (See photo!) And his striped tail is the best striped tail in the history of ever. This cheerful, fun, bright, alert, and sunshiny boy has a happy chirp he uses to say HI! He is a little sweetheart. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet! Jess Yale Speech has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care. All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. For further information or to meet Jess Yale Speech, please email [email protected].
