Joanne is a former community cat who has taken some time to get used to being around humans. She gets along very well with other cats, even the ones that don't want to be around her. We think she was once a mom because of how well she interacts with the kittens in the room. Joanne is still hesitant of humans, but sitting down or approaching her calmly yields good results. She is a sweetie; she just needs more time to learn that humans are safe and loving. Joanne has tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). She should be adopted with other FeLV+ cats or into a home with no other cats.
