Joey was found outside a few years ago. He was taken in and lived his younger years in the house of a sweet old woman. During the time he lived with her, he was free to roam the house. He is good at using the litter box properly, and eating the food put out for him, he pretty much stayed to himself. They had an understanding, and it worked for them. Sadly, Joey's friend, the woman he lived with, passed away and Joey was returned to us. He’s about 3-5 years old now. While we thought he might not ever come around to be a social kitty since losing his friend. But recently he has gained free range of his foster home with other kitty friends. To our surprise, Joey often comes up to rub on his foster Dad's legs and seems to be coming around from the difficult time of losing his human.
With time and patience, Joey could be a peaceful addition to your family! Can you give him a chance?
