Joey was a stray in Waverly found with his brother by a Waverly Pet Rescue volunteer. The volunteer was concerned because Joey was so much smaller than his sibling. They found a home for his brother but wanted to make sure Joey went to people with baby kitten experience since he was so small. WPR took him in and he is now in a foster home and doing great. He has been to the vet and will be ready to adopt August 9th when he is 8 weeks old. (state requires he be 8 weeks old). Please apply now to adopt Joey Aug 9th!
Vet estimated that Joey was only 3 weeks old when he was found. He remains fairly small for his age we are guessing he was probably the runt of the litter. He may stay on the small side or he may adventually have a big growth spurt. Joey has be very adventerous from the day he got to his foster home. Even at 3 weeks old if he wanted to get down he would jump, no matter how far. He has not been much of a cuddler, he is just go go go. He has been around kids, cats, and dogs (up to 70 lbs.) he did fine with all of them. He is very playful and will find things to play with.
Since he was so young his foster home feed him milk replacer for kittens and he continues to eat at least a can of wet food a day. He has started to also eat dry food but it seems to still be quite a work out for him. Because of this we do recommend that he have both until he is more comfortable eating only dry.
Joey must be neutered by his adopter when he is old enough and proof is required.
Will someone please adopt Joey and give him a forever home? $50 adoption fee. ($25 is a neuter deposit you will get back once we receive proof of his neuter)
