My Story

Jordy came into our shelter with her sister Peyton. They were found abandoned as small kittens. They were taken in and raised, but as they grew big they began to bully older cats that were already owned. They reached out to Floyd Felines to help find them a home. When they first arrived they were very frightened and did a lot of growling and hiding from our volunteers. This was to be expected since they had been through a lot of changes. But things have changed since they first arrived almost 6 months ago. We no longer feel that they must go as a pair, though that would be nice if they could. They have different personalities. It is possible that when they make another change there will be another adjustment period, but we know they can make change and when they are "themselves" they are a joy.qui Jordy is the quiet girl. She is just happy finding a spot to lie down and take a nap. She sure doesn't mind it at all if you come up next to her and give her some strokes. She is happy just strolling around when she wants to, usually to find some food or a litter box or even a better place to watch out the window. Jordy is living in a shelter with many other adult cats and she really hasn't had a chance to get her personality to shine. We would love for someone to give this beautiful Tabby girl a chance and then get back to us about what personality emerges. If you'd like to meet this beauty, please contact us and we will be happy to set it up.
