Kaila (Barn cat)

Meet Kaila! Kaila is one of our adoptable barn cats for adoption in our rescue called A Place Fur Rescue. Kaila was rescued from a local shopping center. She was approximately 6 months old and feral. a kitten herself and became pregnant. Two days after being rescued, she gave birth to 8 kittens, 4 males/4females (Smokey, Ash, Coal, Rocky, Dee-Dee, Gigi, Kei-Kei, Mimi). Kaila and her babies are looking for their forever homes. Kaila needs a guardian who is patient and will give her time, space, and love to develop into the loving cat that she can be. She is smart and independent. It may take a little longer for you to gain her trust since she learned to be guarded in order to survive the dangers of living outside. She isn’t a kitty that will cuddle on your lap or let you carry her about, but with the right person, patience and a lot of love she can be your best companion. Once you gain her trust she will follow you around. She is spicy and will let you know when she wants your attention or not. Kaila loves chasing after and playing with string toys and is very motivated by food and treats. Kaila should be adopted into a home with another young cat or one of her kittens if wanting to adopt two cats.
