KIMMIE

KIMMIE was found as a stray. During her time on the streets, she probably had ear mites, causing her to have one ear that has damage from her trying to scratch at the mites. Can you imagine how awful that must have been for her? KIMMIE is fine now but is shy and trying to figure out what this new place is all about. Timid KIMMIE is barely a year old and has already probably had traumatic experiences. Still, she will come forward for pets if you offer them. She waits for you to make the first move, however. It doesn't seem that she is afraid, as much as perhaps she hasn't had a lot of recent contact with people, and she has become accustomed to holding back. Once she's sure you want to pet her, she rolls on her side and loves every minute. She has the biggest purr! As a stray, we do not know how she will be with dogs or kids. She isn't having any issues with her roommates, but she is very cautious. She may do fine with children old enough to understand how to gently pet and to not play too rough. KIMMIE has had a difficult time in her short life and would probably do best in a quiet home with an understanding and patient guardian/family. Once she trusts that she is safe and loved, KIMMIE will blossom into the sweet, loving companion she was always meant to be.
