* Social, affectionate, & chatty * Fine with other cats, but would be OK as only * OK with kids 7+ and mellow dogs with proper intros Kismet is a lovely young kitty, around 2 years old. She is very affectionate and loving and enjoys being petted. She's very social! She thrives on companionship and enjoys nothing more than curling up beside her favorite person. While she may have spent her early years outdoors, Kismet has quickly adapted to indoor life and relishes the comfort and security it provides. She is still learning the art of play, but she's discovered the joy of wrestling with toys and engaging in interactive games. Kismet was born outside to an unspayed pet cat. She lived outside her entire life, fed by a neighbor of her mother's owner. A few months ago, she gave birth to kittens on his porch, and he decided she and her kittens deserved a loving indoor home! While she can be initially wary of strange humans, she adjusted to her foster home almost immediately and began demanding attention and pets, so we would not describe her personality as "shy" and expect her to adjust quickly. Likes: Cuddling on the couch with her humans, receiving gentle pets and scratches behind the ears, lounging in sunny spots by the window, and exploring her indoor environment with curiosity and wonder. Dislikes: Feeling lonely or neglected, being ignored. Kismet is fine with other cats but not particularly interested in them, so she would be fine as an only cat or with others. She would be OK with kids 5+ and would probably be fine with a mellow dog with proper introductions. Kismet is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. Kismet's social nature makes her an ideal companion for a loving family willing to provide her with the care and attention she deserves. With patience and understanding, she will blossom into a cherished member of the household, bringing joy and warmth to all who welcome her into their hearts.
