Kiwi - pending

Kiwi along with Emerald and Jade were brought to MLDHS when their owner passed away. We are unsure if they are siblings or related in any way. Kiwi and Emerald are still available for adoption. Kiwi's foster mom says that Kiwi is a confidant kitten who seems to adjust quickly to new experiences. She has never shown any signs of aggression and is not rough in her play. She likes to play with her toys and with Emerald’s tail. She can also be a curious cat who is content to observe her surroundings. She readily purrs and only very occasionally meows. She likes to be held for a few minutes but then is ready to scamper away. She is a good eater and is not shy about eating Emerald’s food. Kiwi will probably adjust very easily to her new home. UPDATE: Kiwi continues to do well in her foster home. She is very comfortable with the other cats and the dog in her foster home and tries to play with all of them. She will seek out the presence of her foster family. She continues to be a curious kitten and is presently very interested in water, the vacuum cleaner and T.V. She calmly accepts new noises and people without any reaction. Our cat adoption fee is $50 which includes spay/neuter and vaccination. With kittens not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption we require a spay/neuter deposit of $100. This deposit will be refunded upon proof of spay/neuter being sent to MLDHS by an agreed upon date.
