Meet Malia! Malia is truly a special girl, with a bit of a story to be told. When Malia was found, her front paw and leg were wedged under her collar causing it to dig into and tear the skin at her armpit. This injury required surgery but Malia went through the procedure and recovery like an angel. She is now healed and ready to find her purrfect home! She is shy to newcomers, but once she gets your trust, she loves you with all her heart. Malia has so much love to give and makes it so easy to love her back. Once the relationship is formed, she will play and follow you around to get your attention, she will even reach up for hugs when she needs a little extra loving! We do believe her trauma has left her skeptical of humans and other animals but, with proper and slow introduction she does do okay around other cats. Don't let her shyness lead you away, once this girl finds her right people, she will warm up and offer all the kitty love a family could need!
