I was named after the maple trees I lived under until my current family found me malnourished and made me healthy again. I can be super cuddly and LOVE treats, head rubs, and watching birds out the window while sitting in the cat tower. > > I lived outdoors for a while (I'm not sure how long). This makes me aggressive toward other cats. I don't know why, but I think I attack them because they scare me and I didn't encounter other nice cats when I fended for myself outside. I'm good with dogs, though, especially ones that aren't super high energy. I love when we have visitors and get extra attention. > > I currently live with two other cats who I have a hard time being around. I attack them sometimes when they haven't provoked me. I love to spend time with my humans, but if the humans move unexpectedly, I have to get startled and react by biting or clawing at them. I think that if I lived in a home without cats, I'd be more comfortable and less likely to react aggressively. Because I really do love snuggles and attention. > > My humans are looking for a forever home for me because they are expecting their first baby in January and my reactions toward the other kitties in the house haven't gotten better. My humans think the addition of a baby into the home will be extra difficult for me and that I deserve a forever home that has what I need. > > Regarding my health, I am vaccinated and fixed. I have had two seizures while living with my humans over the last year, but they were brief (<30 sec), and my vet doesn't want me on medicine for them. There is no known cause for them...I just need some love afterward. > > I need a loving home without other cats and probably without small children.
