My Story

For inquiries contact [email protected]. Information and application are at www.staf.org. Look alive cuz Mara is on the scene! Yes, this beautiful and spectacularly marked, spunky girl is alert, happy-go-lucky, and ready to create a spark in your life. Mara lives in a room full of cats and is a tad spicy with her roommates. She truly prefers people, on whom she is completely fixated. Mara loves to be the center of attention and with her alluring antics, she will capture your heart immediately. Be prepared—our lively girl may surprise you as she loves to ride a shoulder or back! Mara was rescued by a small rural shelter that was trying to help with a hoarding situation of 75 cats/kittens. She was among the lucky ones that STAF was able to help, as she immediately went into a loving foster home before she came to our shelter. Our lovely lady is currently a resident in one of our biggest rooms with great windows so she can be entertained by the birds outside, but still maintain her stance as large (in personality not in size) and in charge in the room. With no volunteer or kitty seeming to be a stranger, this girl seems to have it all; stunning looks and a silly personality that have won her the status of this year's Giving Tuesday Spokeskitty. My goodness, having so much talent and so many wonderful attributes, she is ready to find her forever home! DOB 2020 Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org. All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or kittens! Please email Jean at [email protected] for more info. on adopting!
