Mirabel was abandoned in her home when the family moved. They left her locked inside with no food or water. A neighbor heard her loud cries and pryed open a small window and threw kibble in for her to eat. She eventually escaped through that window and another neighbor was kind enough to feed her outdoors for two months, then called our rescue group for help. Poor Mirabel was emaciated and had some loss of fur, but with quality food, some TLC in foster care and time, she gained weight and began to trust people again. She is now a healthy 8 year-old lap kitty and loves humans, but prefers not to be around other cats. Mirabel needs to be the only kitty in the home. She is an easy-care cat, loves looking out windows, napping where the sunspot is or where a lap is available. Adoption fee $80. Call Cynthia at 727-743-3906
