Marley

Marley is a beautiful tuxedo kitty. She came into foster care as a feral mama kitty with her babies, and was a wonderful and attentive mama. In the beginning, she wasn't too fond of humans and showed us her excellent boxing skills in keeping us at bay and respecting her space. However, months of warmth, regular food, and love despite her best efforts to avoid it made her change her feral ways. She has adapted to the indoor life and gone from hiding from humans to actively seeking attention and affection. She loves to sleep on the bed next to her foster mama every night and seeks affection freely and frequently when humans are in proximity. She also love batting toys and balls around and can be quite playful. She is a quirky girl. Although she is in a foster home with several other adult cats, she seems to tolerate their presence rather than embrace them as potential pals. She will need an experienced adopter who understands semi-feral kitties and their need for independence and love on their own terms.
