Maverick Today, the interviewer lady (IL) had a sudden attack of "Cat Paralysis." I was sitting on her lap, and she couldn't move! As soon as she opened my door, I put my paws on her legs and curled up into a contented, round ball of orange. She could tell I was craving physical affection from a human being and was more than willing to give me all the pets, scratches, and cuddles I needed. To say I am a believer in PDAs is an understatement. I am 3-years-old, neutered, and all four of my paws have been declawed. I love dogs, cuddling, playing with toys, and getting the zoomies. My owner found me as a stray but surrendered me in mid-May due to litterbox issues. I know what you are thinking, but remember: 1. All four paws are declawed, which causes me pain. 2. I had a UTI when I arrived. 3. I weigh 12 #, which puts even more pressure on my feet. Please work with me to help me figure out a more painless way to use the litterbox. My heart is breaking without someone to cuddle with. Soft, fine-grained litter, several large clean litterboxes on every floor, and helping me lose weight are just some of the ways you can help me. The HSHC staff will give you some more suggestions. I want to be honest about my problem, but I promise you will never find a more loving fellow to adopt. 6-26-24
