Meet Maya, one of the most loving and social cats you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting! Maya came to us after her and her brother had been abused horribly and sustained life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, her brother Martin did not make it, but Maya survived against all odds and is thriving today. Maya has a kind and gentle soul and is just happy to be near people. She loves to be brushed and petted, and will stretch up your leg asking to be picked up and held. Due to her injuries, Maya walks with a bit of a wobble, but she can still climb stairs, run while playing, and do mostly everything a normal cat can do. She always uses her litterbox and is not on any medications. She also suffered some head trauma which left her with a crooked jaw and mild neurological symptoms such as the wobbly walk and exaggerated movements, all of which add to her charm and adorableness. She is only 11-months-old and happily coexists with other cats and a dog, and would likely also be okay in a home by herself. She is laid back and calm, but can chase a toy or roughhouse with a buddy when she is in the mood. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens.
