Maya Angelou is a beautiful, super friendly year-old kitty from Jamaica, Queens whose human family failed herthey had to move and left her on the street. She subsequently got pregnant and the neighbor who was feeding her wouldn't take her in, so she's now with us. Maya is a delicate, gentle girl who loves people but can't be around other cats (we think she was probably chased and attacked by ferals). Unfortunately, she has to be kept in a crate because her rescuer has other cats, and she's keeping her paws crossed that someone sets her free very soon!
