Midge

Everyone needs just a little bit of space. Midge doesn't ask for much; some food, some water, a roof over her head, a cozy bed to lounge in, a couple of good hiding places, and some personal space. If you ask Midge, the shelter environment just isn't her jam. See, she'd like to be an only cat, or maybe have 1 or 2 friends that keep their distance. She doesn't hate other cats, but they tend to get all up in her bubble and that tends to rub her the wrong way. She much prefers the company of people, as long as they get down on her level and let her know that they aren't there to eat her. Once she gets over her initial caution, she loves to chat and if you talk to her she often chatters back. She enjoys when people sit on the floor or in a chair, hold her, pet her shoulders and back and tell her how much they love her. Midge would be best suited to calm home that is free of young children. If you enjoy short trots to the food bowl and a warm place to curl up for a nap, Midge might be the girl for you.
