I would like you to meet Mimi who we found in a storm drain along with her two sisters. Mimi was a very frightened kitten and has gone through many struggles to become a sweet and loving kitten. This little girl escaped from a carrier and was gone 3 ½ weeks and returned with ear mites, parasites and weighing 1 ½ lbs. Upon examination, our vet found that Mimi was born without her top eyelids. Mimi then went to a specialist who performed cryosurgery to remove the hair from the top of her eyelids to prevent blindness. Mim will always have dry eyes and need eye drops twice a day but is otherwise healthy.
