This is a sad story. Minks was surrendered to the shelter in January 2018 because she was a disobedient cat / horrible behavior. Through the years, Minks has settled down, getting use to the day to day shelter routine. She would walk around and play for a few hours then retreat to her cage. She always liked attention on her terms. November 2023...she finds a home! A indoor barn where she can be herself. She was so happy, she did great, stayed around the barn, rubbed on the legs of the riders. THEN!!!! She decides she hates the other cats and chased them away. Frustration from the owner, Mink finds herself back to at the shelter. Minks is very depressed and confused. She is barely making eye contact or raising her head. She is now 7 years old. Can somebody help her?
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
