I am Mirage. I don't like you, probably never will. Why? Because mean humans dumped my mom outside to have her babies out in the cold all alone. Why would anyone do that? It was so scary for me. The humans I live with are nice to me, but I still just don't think it's a good idea to trust. My mom said her humans used to love her too, but that changed. I don't have a mean bone in my body, I just prefer the company of other cats as opposed to people. Can you blame me?
Maybe with time, I may change how I feel but the wounds on my heart are still very real. It would take a very special and patient person to win me over, but if someone is willing to try, I am willing to try.
